NEW 2024: $15 EEVB MEMBERSHIPS for league players: We are now requiring players to obtain an EEVB membership instead of the national membership required in the past. We are doing this to control the rising national membership costs for our players while still be able to fund liability insurances required by our host sites. Memberships will be done through VolleyballLife.com, which is where captains will also construct their rosters. Complete info on this new program will be updated online over the next 2 weeks.
Tournament players will still need the $35 AVP Silver membership to compete in weekend tournaments. EEVB will credit the $15 EEVB membership to each league player who then obtains an AVP America membership.

How to roll up a boundary line video that every player should watch at least once is at bottom of this page
Format:
Teams will be assigned to a net each night and will play against the other teams assigned to that net. The final winning team each night will return the completed schedule & results to the league director. It is the responsibility of each winning team to make sure that the scores are entered properly on the schedule sheet. Boundary ropes can be left set up at this site.
PLAYOFFS: The top 6 teams make the playoffs scheduled for the last night. All other teams play a normal schedule on the last night. Playoff Brackets. In case of rain the last night prizes will be awarded based on final league standings.
When you leave the beach after play, we recommend that you take a photo of the result sheet for reference. Please check at that time that all your wins are properly recorded. Most times when someone says their record is recorded improperly, it is because they forgot to circle all their wins. This becomes evident when we show them a photo of the sheet turned in.
Make sure that you cross off all un-played games when you leave so that someone does not take credit for a win after you leave. Cross out the game and mark “DARK” or “RAIN” as a reason or the game not being played.
If we do decide to change your record, it will not affect the already released schedule. The change will show up the following week.
We will check the result sheet in question and let you know what it shows. We will make changes depending on what the sheet shows.
Additional info concerning forfeits:
Forfeits: If a team forfeits for the entire evening, each team on the net will receive 3 wins against the missing team. The remaining teams will then play against each other the rest of the night with all games counting towards the win-loss records of each team. In a 4 or 5-team pool, each team will receive 1 win by forfeit against the team that forfeits and the forfeiting team will receive 1 loss for each team in the pool.
If a team posts on sportsYou by 6 pm night of play that they are not coming, they will only receive 4 forfeits instead of 6 in exchange for their courtesy telling other teams which lets them get started earlier.
Thanks.
All players should watch this video to learn how to properly wrap up boundary lines at the end of play. There is nothing more frustrating than starting a night unwinding a poorly wrapped boundary rope. Please be sure you and all your teammates watch this video to learn how to properly wrap up boundaries at the end of the night. Last losing team on the court is responsible for winding up the ropes. Thanks.
