**NBA 2K27 could be one of the biggest gameplay shakeups we've seen in years... and I think 2K has no choice.**

In NBA 2K26, 2K listened to the community by introducing features many players had been asking for, including a larger pure green window, the removal of much of the RNG, and changes to variable shot timing. While these changes made shooting lens nantes feel more rewarding for skilled players, they've also sparked concerns that the gameplay has become easier to exploit.

In today's video, I explain why I believe NBA 2K27 could reintroduce or redesign some of these mechanicsnot because 2K wants to go backward, but because they need to strike a better balance between rewarding skill and protecting the competitive integrity of the game.
