MLB Playoff Picture 2024: Guardians Clinch Postseason; Updated Bracket, Standings

One of the surprise stories of the 2024 MLB season will be playing in October after the Cleveland Guardians clinched a postseason berth.

The Guardians secured their spot in the playoffs Thursday with a 3-2 win over the Minnesota Twins in extra innings.

Cleveland won the game and clinched a playoff spot in walk-off fashion in front of the home fans, as an Andres Gimnez RBI single scored Jose Ramrez.
