In my earlier videos, I explained how this debate is different from the older content-based net neutrality debate and why TRAI had earlier rejected similar priority treatment in 4G.In this video, I take the discussion one step deeper.If Airtel says there is no congestion and enough 5G capacity, then what is the real value of Priority Postpaid? And if the value appears only during congestion, then we must ask: where exactly is the congestion, and does Airtel have enough spectrum capacity in those locations and bands?The key issue is that network capacity cannot be measured at a national level. Mobile congestion is local. It depends on circle, city, cell site, sector, band, indoor coverage, and spectrum depth.So in this video, I examine Airtels spectrum position circle by circle and compare it with Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea. The focus is especially on low-band and mid-band spectrum such as 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 700 MHz and 800 MHz, because indoor 5G coverage and congestion relief cannot depend only on 3500 MHz.Airtels challenge is that in several important high-value circles, especially where postpaid concentration is likely to be higher, its low-band spectrum position is weak. Without sufficient low-frequency spectrum, indoor 5G slicing may not deliver the claimed experience unless Airtel significantly densifies its network or adds capacity through other means.This video explains why the debate on Priority Postpaid cannot be settled by saying overall 5G utilisation is low.
