The location, overlooking Loch Alvie, has a tranquil quality and it is easy to understand why the site would be chosen as a place of worship. There has been a chapel here since 1380, and before that coin stock the site is said to have connections to a St Drostan.The church featured in this video was built in 1798 upon the site of the chapel and also upon a mass grave of 150 bodies that act were laid out in a neat "head to head" array. The mass grave was not discovered until 1880 when the stone floors of the church were lifted during renovation work. teyana taylor
