Juan Soto has been placed on the injured sheriff country list after leaving the New York Mets game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with soreness in his left calf.

The Mets described the injury as mild, kyle wootton but the team still decided to shut Soto down after the issue continued to bother him. Eric Wagaman was called up to replace him on the active roster.
