How to Register

3 steps to register your team

Complete Step 1 to hold your spot, then finish Steps 2-3

Step 1: Pay Deposit

  1. Go to AVP America, select Schedule drop-down, then select the 4th item that says “Leagues”. 
    • AVP Membership is required for all players on your team. League players select the Bronze level, $15/player. Membership is valid for 365 days from date of purchase. (Get your AVP America Membership at AVP.com)
    • Please select East End Volleyball as your organization, and NONE for beach club affiliate when creating or renewing your membership.
    • If you plan to play any weekend tournaments (excludes EEVB League Championships), you will need the $25 Silver membership.
    • Memberships can be upgraded to a higher level at any point. Note that upgrades do not add time to your membership expiration date.
    • Memberships must be active throughout the last day of the league
  2. In the Organization drop-down menu, select East End Volleyball. Do not change the other boxes.
  3. Select the League Site & Night, then select Register.
  4. Select the Division from the drop-down menu, then click “Register team and add players later”
  5. Pay the deposit to hold your spot until the 5/15 cutoff date.
    1. For lowest fees, mail a check for the balance to avoid online Credit Card Service fees. There is a $25 service fee added for all “balance due” & “Full payments”. The $100 deposit option does not have a service fee.
  6. League registration closes when all nets are full. Please put down a deposit right away to hold your spot, then finish the other steps.
  7. Once the above is complete, your spot will be held, and you can finish the remaining 2 items below to finalize the entry. Your summer league spot is held until the May 15 cutoff date.

Paying via Check:

  1. Mail the $100 deposit (or full payment if you prefer)
  2. Check payable to EEVB
  3. Mail to PO Box 49, Hampton Bays, NY 11946
  4. List League Site, Division, Night of Play and Captain’s Name on the check.
  5. Send an email to eevb@optonline.net letting us know your check is in the mail, and we will hold spot until the check arrives.

Additional Information:

  • Any registration not completed by cutoff date (May 15) is not guaranteed and may be given away to teams on the waiting list at that point.
  • Deposits are non-refundable after 5/15 cutoff date.
  • Please be sure the captain pays the fee & sends in the roster. Using different players for these tasks can cause an error in your registration possibly causing your spot to be lost. We are not responsible for any errors in registration causing a team to lose a space in a league.
  • You can track the progress of your registration on the league standings page for the league you joined. It will show if your team has been accepted, if your roster has been received with the AVP America membership #s and if you are paid in full. When both are blocked off in blue your registration is complete.

Step 2: Create Your Roster

(All team players must have an active AVP Membership. Scroll down on this page for instructions and more information. A membership that expires before the last night of league play cannot be added to a roster until renewed)
  1. Captain: Log in at AVP America.com
  2. Scroll to the bottom of your profile page until you see Upcoming Leagues
    • If you did not complete step 1 online yet, go back to step 1 for instructions on how to find your league
  3. Click Edit Roster to add players (entry fee covers 10 players for coed 6s teams, 6 players for 4-player teams; additional players add $20/player to fee)
  4. Enter a Team Name if you wish (NOTE: Any team with a commercial company sponsored name will be charged $100 in addition to regular team fee)
  5. Enter the Last Name or AVP Number of your teammate in the search bar (enter the first 2-3 letters if you are unsure of the spelling) and click Search.
    • Do not enter first name, full name, or any other info in the search bar.
  6. A new drop-down menu will appear.  Select your player from the list.
  7. The player will automatically be added to your roster, which you can see on the screen.
  8. PLEASE BE SURE ALL PLAYERS ALSO ADD THEIR T-SHIRT SIZES ON THEIR MEMBERSHIP PROFILE. We use that info when distributing shirts to all players.
  9. To add players at any time after registration, select the Membership menu item, then Player Login. This will bring you to your Player Profile Landing Page. Scroll down to see your upcoming leagues. Click Edit Roster to add players.
  10. NOTE: Players must have a current AVP America membership valid through end of league to be listed/added. If the membership expires at any time before the league’s last day, they cannot be added to the roster until they renew their membership.
  11. WHEN FINISHED, SEND AN EMAIL telling us your roster is complete to Richard Heiles – eevb@optonline.net

Additional Information:

  • Teams vary in number of players. We do not know if you are finished when you have 6 players on the roster or if you still plan to add more players. Once you email us that the roster is complete, we will note that on the league standings page. You can still add players afterwards if needed until July 1. Coed 6s must have minimum 6 players on roster; 4s must have minimum 4 players on roster.
  • Can’t Find Your Roster? Go to your “Player Login” page and all your teams are listed at the bottom under Current Leagues. You can always edit your roster from that link.
  • New Players can be added to the roster until July 1
  • Teams will not be placed on the schedule until the complete roster is submitted. PLEASE DO IT ONLINE TODAY and save everyone a lot of headaches and waiting on line Night 1 of the league.
  • Pre-registered teams will be listed on the Standings Page showing:
    • If your team has:
      • Paid in full
      • Sent in a COMPLETED roster
      • NO TEAM WILL BE PLACED ON THE SCHEDULE UNTIL THESE 2 ITEMS ARE COMPLETED

AVP Membership 

  • Required for all players on your team
  • Please select East End Volleyball as your organization when creating or renewing your membership.
  • Bronze: $15/player, valid for 365 days from date of purchase.
  • If you only play in leagues, get the $15 BRONZE membership.
  • If you plan to play any weekend tournaments (excludes EEVB League Championships), you will need the $25 SILVER membership.
  • Memberships can be upgraded at any time if you decide to compete in a tournament.
    • Note that upgrades do not add time to the membership expiration date
  • You can find a player’s AVP # online at AVP America Member List.
    • Check the Member List to see if your teammates have an active AVP Membership.
      • Enter your teammates last name in the search bar.
      • If the name is not found, they don’t have a membership.
      • If the name appears in red, the membership is expired. If the name is in green, they have an active membership.
  • ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE AVP # before your team will be scheduled for THE FIRST NIGHT OF PLAY
  • AVP America is a grassroots organization designed to give back benefits to players while promoting beach volleyball throughout the US. AVP America will help support players of all levels including league players. The end of the season championship event will now be open to teams from around the US and will be capped with an after-play party not to be missed, all coordinated through AVP America.

Step 3: Fees 

ALL entry fees must be paid in FULL by May 15 Cutoff Date
Fees based on ROSTER SIZE of 6 players for 4s, and 10 players for 6s; ADD $20/additional player + AVP membership for rosters above these #s
Lowest fee:
  1. Pay $100 deposit online (deposits do not charge credit card service fee)
  2. Pay balance by April 1 to receive early bird fee
  3. Pay balance by mailing a check by April 1. Early bird fee will be honored for any check postmarked by April 1.
  4. Pay balance before May 15 to avoid late fee

Long Beach

Registrations are accepted based on a first come, first-serve basis by the # of teams in a league per division. This league will fill up. Sign up early! See # of open spots on the League Standings Page. Avoid $25 credit card service fee by mailing check for balance/full payment.
  • Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
    • Early Bird: $895, paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $925, paid in full by May 15 cut-off
    • Late Fee: $975, paid in Full after May 15
  • Friday 
    • Early Bird: $775, paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $825, paid in full by May 15
    • Late Fee: $875, paid in full after May 15).

Town of N. Hempstead Beach Park (Port Washington)

Avoid credit card service fee by mailing check for balance/full payment.
Play 2nd night at 1/2 price if both teams pay deposit by May 15
  • Tuesday
    • Early Bird: $350, paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $400, paid in full before May 15
    • Late Fee: $450, paid in full after May 15.

Tiana Beach, Hampton Bays

Avoid credit card service fee by mailing check for balance/full payment.
  • Tuesday 
    • Early Bird: $450, paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $475, if paid in full by May 15
    • Late Fee: $495, if paid in full after May 15
  • Wednesday
    • Special: $350 for first 6 teams paid in FULL
    • Early Bird: $450, if paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $475, if paid in full by May 15
    • Late Fee: $495, if paid in full after May 15
  • Thursday
    • Special: $350 first 6 teams paid in FULL
    • Early Bird: $450, paid in full by April 1

Centereach Park

Avoid credit card service fee by mailing check for balance/full payment.
  • Tuesday/Thursday Coed 6s (other nights can be added based on demand)
    • Early Bird: $375, paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $450, paid in full by May 15
    • Late Fee: $475, paid in full after May 15
  • Wednesday Junior Girls 2s: $150 pd. in full by May 15, 2023
    • Option to purchase Wilson Optx ball for $50
    • Sign up by age group. teams will be schedules based on record, not age. ages will be used for 1st night schedule.

Town of BABYLON ANNEX (Indoor League)

Avoid credit card service fee by mailing check for balance/full payment.
  • Regular Fee; $595
    • Early Bird: $540, paid in full by 9/15, 12/18 and 2/21 respectively
    • Paying the deposit online guarantees your spot. You can then mail a check for the balance to avoid the $25 credit card service fee.
    • BEST VALUE: entry fee for paying all 3 sessions before September 15 is $1450
    • Send us email reserving your spot if you are taking the 3 session discount.

Additional Information 

  • Any fee except $100 deposit paid by credit card will have $25 service added to total cost. Get lowest fee by mailing check for balance.
  • Spaces not held for any team not completely registered by 5/15 cutoff date.
  • $50 late fee for any team registration not completed by May 15. We have instituted this policy because the leagues have grown so large that starting them has become unmanageable if we are still waiting for last minute registrations. With everyone done by the cutoff date, we can have schedules and court assignments up that week and the leagues will start smoothly benefiting all of the teams that registered early. Please help us by finishing your registration on time.
    • Note: that rosters can be adjusted up to 7/4 but payments must be complete by 5/15 to avoid late fee.
  • 5/15 postmark date for mailed checks will count as being received by cutoff date.
  • All EEVB leagues are only 1 session for the summer. The fee below covers the whole summer. We will never have 2 seasons/2 fees for one season at any of our leagues.
  • Fees based on ROSTER SIZE of 6 players for 4s, and 10 players for 6s; ADD $20/additional player + AVP membership for rosters above these #s.
  • Fee includes:
    • League play
    • Team volleyball that you should bring every week
    • T-shirts for every player on your team, given out in June. Please ask all of your players to update their t-shirt size in their AVP America membership, which is where we get size info
    • Prizes for top 4 teams in every division
    • Free entry into EEVB League Championship Tournament, held on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend in Long Beach

  • NOTE: The deposit is part of the whole entry fee. Example: Long Beach $950 fee can be paid in two installments: deposit payment ($100) followed by the balance due payment ($850), or as one initial payment for the entire fee ($950).   • Click “Make Payment” next to team to make payment

Please note that there is a $25 credit card service fee to pay online. You can avoid this fee by signing up early and mailing a check. No service charge for paying $100 deposit to hold your spot.
