All players that participate in EEVB leagues, tournaments and clinics must have an active AVP Membership. There are several levels of membership available:
- Basic:Â For parents/guardians that are not competing in any leagues or tournaments
- Bronze:Â Players in leagues, clinics and junior clubs
- Silver:Â Players competing in tournaments
- Gold:Â Players competing in AVPNext Gold, AVP Pro, or AVPJuniors 4-Star events (Nationals, Beach Week, West Coast Championships & East Coast Championships)
*Juniors cannot create their own membership. In order for parents to be aware of their childâs volleyball activities, the AVP has instituted a system where a parent must have their own membership to manage their childâs account until they turn 18.
NOTE: You get your membership at AVP.com. You register for leagues, tournaments, & training programs at AVP America. They are two separate sites but they use the same log on info.(The higher level East End Vertical program takes registrations at East End Vertical
Below are procedures for creating a new AVP account or renewing an existing/expired account:
Creating a New U18 (player under 18 years old) Account
- Parents should create a Basic (free) Membership for themself here
- If you already have your own account, login at avp.com and go to step 2.
- Once you have created your account, on your profile page, click the drop-down menu with your name on it and select âCreate linked accountâ
- Select the membership level based on the definitions above.
- Enter your childâs information. You will need to use a different email address than the one you used to create your account.
- Follow the prompts to complete the membership.
Renewing an Existing/Expired U18 (under 18 years old) Account
- U18 members need to login to their existing account at avp.com and complete the security questions listed on their Account Settings page.  These security questions will help protect the minor from allowing any adult to gain access to their profile and personal information
- Once that is done, log out.
- Parents should create a Basic (free) Membership for themself here. You will need to use a different email address than the one you used to create your childâs account.
- If you already have a parent account, login to your account at avp.com and go to step 4.
- Once you have created your account, on your profile page, click the drop-down menu with your name on it and select âLink existing accountâ
- Enter your childâs information as it is listed on their account
- The U18 membership will then successfully be linked to the parent account, giving the parent/guardian full access to the U18âs account through their own AVP account/portal.
- Itâs important to note that linked parent accounts are the only ones able to renew and/or upgrade memberships for U18 members. Â This can be handled by a parent logging into their own AVP account, clicking into their linked childâs account, and renewing/upgrading via the Account Settings page.
Once the accounts are linked to renew your daughterâs membership, follow these steps
- On your profile page, click the drop-down menu with your name on it and select your childâs name under âLinked Accountsâ
- This will take you to her profile page â make sure you see her name, it should say âChildâs Nameâ Account at the top
- Click the blue Renew button
- Select the membership level based on the definitions above.
- Follow the prompts to complete the payment
